i am an aspiring fiction writer that has several compleated stories that are fire department mystery stories in nature but written as a novel. can anyone give me some direction on how to get them in print? i have spoken to a publisher that was honest with me about the quality of my stories and she agrees that i have some points that are marketable but could not be sure that they would be popular. i have no problem recieveing criticism so if you know if self publishing is the way to go or should i try to get on with a lterary agent, let me know. i am committed to this project of mine and redy to sit down and talk
