A lot of Depts have website these days, but to what extent do they serve, Is it just another way to keep members informed or does it help to educate the local community of the services available. Your thoughts...

we used are dept website to update members and public of injured firefighters from our dept. the web address is www.cfdsmokeeaters.com let me know what u think of it. You can also join and be a webpage member

Our web site is maintained for the use of both, but is mainly for the general public to keep them informed of: 1. The calls we run. 2. Fire prevention info including product Recalls for reasons of fire hazards. Our web site can be found at www.Clearspringfire.net
