The symposium is designed to be a hard hitting, factual series of presentations about the PPE that most firefighters use on a regular basis. A CD of the presentations will be provided to attendees.
The symposium schedule is set we're ready to see you March 4 through 6 in Raleigh, North Carolina.
I'm posting all of this really late so early registration is done and the room block at the Sheraton is full. We do have an agreement with the Clarion (a 10 minute walk or $5 taxi ride - please use the LRAL group code.)
A special feature of the 2013 Symposium will be a Monday tour of the Textile Protection and Comfort Center (T-PACC) at N.C. State University’s College of Textiles. The tour will feature an OPEN HOUSE Introduction of T-PACC’s newest Laboratory for Research of Firefighter Protective Clothing, including a new fire test chamber featuring RADMAN™.
This is a “can’t miss” opportunity for anyone desiring an understanding of the research and testing involved with firefighter’s PPE. See NFPA 1971 tests and other research equipment in the lab — where it all happens. Talk to the scientists at the forefront of fire fighter PPE testing and see the latest tests being analyzed for future PPE developments. You don't want to miss the F.I.E.R.O. Fire PPE Symposium this March in Raleigh. Hope to see you there!
