The Fire Service Women of New York State is offering our fourth annual Phoenix Firecamp, July 18-23 at the Utica Fire Academy in Utica, NY.  This is a weeklong, overnight, firematics camp for young women.  If you know of a young woman ages 14-19 who is interested in learning more about fire and emergency services, then this is a great opportunity.  We provide a safe, secure, and professional learning environment.  Camp is staffed by women firefighters and EMTs who volunteer our time to make this camp possible.  For information, please visit our website at www.fswnys.org - you do not need to be a NYS resident to apply, but all applicants are required to be covered by medical insurance and secure their own transportation to and from camp.  Outside of a $75 application fee, camp is free.
