Buffalo Firefighters responded this afternoon for a report of a structure fire on E Oakwood Pl. Engine 34 reported smoke showing enroute & went on location with heavy smoke showing from the 2nd floor rear of a 2 1/2 story dwelling. Ladder 7 reported a victim possibly trapped and started a primary search. B-47 assumed command and reported heavy fire on the 2nd floor rear. Both the primary search & secondary searches were negative. The fire was under control in about 23 minutes. The cause is under investigation by the Buffalo Fire Marshalls & damages were listed at $100,000.
