One thing that should be maintained on a horse is there feet.No Foot No Horse Don't trust Barefoot trimming on Rocks and Gravel,You will for sure end up with Stone Bruises.Make sure that you put the correct type of shoes for the terrain you will be riding.With some type of terrain you may have to use Plastic or Leather Pads to protect the sole and the frog.
