I think that I am a goodone. As you knnow I have been here there many years. Sometimes I get concearned that I do not do enough. My family takes some of my time. But I try to serve both. It is very fulfilling to pass along my knowage. Too bad few do more work than the many but it has to be done. I miss the nights out front in the chairs BSing. Sometimes it lonely during the days when seem to have more time. Thanks for letting me talk. I would like to think you have to have heart to be a good firefighter. GB

i am a firefighter who will stay in the fire with another firefighter if they are down and until someone else will come and help me get him out or try myself to get him/her out. i am a firefighter who will try and save all lives and or property if i can. i am a firefighter who will show up on a call and not stand there, i will do some work, thats my job (why stand around).

I could care less what anyone thinks. All I am concerned with is the results. I make my best effort to save life an property. If that defines a good firefighter, then I am one. On the same token, if all you do is claim to be a good firefighter, then you probably aren't one. I would do this without lights, without sirens, and without awards.
