To be selfless. Put forth an effort without the promise of reward. Care little about getting credit for the job as long as the outcome was positive. Taking the blame when the outcome is not positive. Courage and common sense.

It takes courage. A lot of courage to accept the fact that you can go in alive and well but in an instant you can be caught in a terrible fire and lose your life. You have to be able to put your life in danger to save someone you dont even know.
