Your responding to a confirmed fire at a construction site that has six (6) wood framed apartment buildings (all at various stages of construction) under construction, with one building fully involved. It is extending rapidly to two other exposures. Greater alarms and mutual aid is all readily available. Its early morning (summer), with expected temperatures to increase by late morning. Sustained water supply is not an issue (you've got plenty of water). The development site is located in an area that is fairly dense with surrounding buildings, occupancies, highway and rail networks and plenty of civilians on thier way to work, or already there (close by).

The questions before us; ( You don't have to address all of these, you pick...)

Recognizing that construction sites have inherent safety and operational challenges that can create significantly complex incident operations, what are some of the issues that an Incident Commander or other Commanding or Company Officer might have to consider, anticipate, plan/prepare for, execute or monitor?
What are some of the various operational safety concerns?
What issues affecet operating companies?
What are the IAP considerations?
What can you say about fire flow requirements?
What's your take on collapse considerations?
What are KEY Strategic considerations?
What are KEY Tactical considerations?
What kind of "external influence" might you be feeling as the IC at this incident?
How could an expanded "Command Support Team" provide at this incident?
What would happen to this incident IF there was a report of a number of firefighters injured due to the collapse of a multi wall/floor area and scaffolding?
How long do you think this type of open exposed fire will burn for? (i.e. how long will it take for the fire to consume most of the wood framing/ fire loading?

This type of fire will draw interest from the money club. The Mayor and council as well as developers, business owners and those who finance the projects will all want to be told there won't be a conflagration. Media coverage will be intense.
