What is the single most important trait or skill a Commanding Officer should have? (assuming there is only one, BUT we all know better than that..) Let's see what paradigms we all have.
One of the biggest skills a Commanding Officer must have (aside from the obvious management and leadership) is the ability to multi-task. Anyone who has ever served in any kind of chaotic environment knows how much information comes in a hurry. Being able to multi-task allows that information to be processed and used in a timely manner.
