Bull, I will keep her family and You in my prayers. This is something hard to understand.

Take care my friend.

Nancy
Bull, calls like that are hard. I have had several myself. The ones I remember the most, and still have hauntings from, are the 17 y/o girl, the 16 y/o boy, the 18 m/o boy, and the 13 w/o boy that I was unable to save. I hate losing, but losing one that hasn't even had a chance to get started is very hard. It is part of the job that we get calls like this, but we don't have to like them. Look back at what you did, learn from it, and go on. Keep your Faith in God strong, and know He will lead you in the right direction. It is by His Grace that we do what we do. I know He will wrap you in His loving arms and tell you that you did everything you were supposed to do. Sometimes the best we can do is show the family that we tried our best. They will know this and it will comfort them in their time of grief. And at the end of the day, there is no better thank you than that.
Bull,
As long as we are on this side of Heaven we will probably not know why things happen or the full plan of God. You and the family will be in my prayers. Bull I will also recommend a book a read when I faced a difficult time in my life; 90 Minutes in Heaven: A True Story of Death & Life by Don Piper. The book gave me real insight to Heaven and the peace that is there.

God Bless Brother,

GW
Hang in there Bull. My prayers are with you and her family.
thanks everyone,,means alot
Bull, prayers are being sent on your behalf as well as for the family. There are many times when things happen and we must trust God as to why. Many times we recognize the good works long after people are gone. My only concern is that you keep your feelings open with others and not let it store up inside. These situations happen on a regular basis nation wide, it all depends on how you handle it. Keep your faith alive and trust in Him.
Bull, this is tough. I have have been through this more than once. Never easy. If it were not my faith in God I would have been a wreck years ago. God bless you and your hands for doing the best you could. barb
Hi Bull, Had it been your call, you might have needed to make sense of it. It was'nt your call. It was The Lords. You were His angel of mercy that kept the crying daughter from being alone with her terror. And, I feel certain, you will be the next time. We are called to save life. Where there is no life to save, Gods will be done. Yes, you and yours are in my prayers. God bless. Peter
