Adoption help
Me and my family are wanting to adopt a child. and we need help from are friends and family. we are not asking for money lol.. just help with open eyes and ears on anyone wanting to put there baby up for adoption. we have 3 boys and when i had our last son i was told i couldnt have no more with out killing me or the next child. well i know cant have anymore because i started having trouble and they wanted to remove everything because cancer runs very high in my family.. Are dreams was to have a girl.. if anyone can help us out. we cant do an agency adoption because they cost over 20,000.00 and as you all know being a fire fighter you dont make that much. and besides my husband is a Volunteer on a nother department. so he feels that another job would hurt them. so please if you can help.. we can travel if we have to but it would have be a private adoption. i dont feel that it would be my place to ask anyone or family for money, i have no parents and he has a mother in her 70's so we dont have any .. so i am asking my fire friends and family just to get the word out for us and look when you can and thanks and God Bless

My wife and I have 5 adult children and after they all graduated from college and moved out on their own we decided to look into foster care. We ended up getting a brother and sister ages 7 and 8. Their father was deceased and when their mother's parental rights got terminated a year later we ended up adopting them. There was no cost for the adoptions. The state even reimbursed us for the filing fee and physical exams we had. We live in Michigan but I'm sure most states have similar programs. You may be wanting a baby which are less common although somtimes available in foster care programs. The possibility of the child being returned to the parent is always possible too if the parents do become fit for parenting (which is the goal in foster care). In our case God knew what was best for us and blessed us with the perfect children according to our abilities to care for them and I know God will honor you and your husband if you pray about it and are open to His provision. If the Lord feels you are the right couple to raise and love a little girl, He is preparing both you and a young child right now. Be open to the Lord's leading and always be sure you are doing things to honor God and bring glory to Him, not just trying to please yourselves or obtain your personal desires. So in saying all of this, I believe 'foster care to adoption' programs are a possible option to trying to find a private adoption.
