Hey Guys, just joined up, to answer your question Wayne; our regional fire service CBRM states that 25 years is the retirement age of all apparatus however I don't support this due to the fact our funding issues make it very hard to accomplish this task our department is not so bad however there are other departments that don't have the tax base or residents to be able to raise the funds. I say if it still runs good and has been maintained properly then let her run to the grave or have the Federal/Provincial gov fund fire service the way it should be.
