Transmitted live from the Baltimore Convention Center over the internet via the Open Fire Academy (
http://openfireacademy.com/)
The failure of recognizing and applying the lessons learned from past events to current operational profiles contribute to History Repeating Events [HRE] that plague the fire service. This program will examine lessons learned and the safety and risk management messages that must be conveyed and retained with an insightful and thought provoking look at command safety and the emphasis on firefighter safety and survival on the Fireground. Relating to the changing paradigms for an improved safety culture in the fire service; Courage, through leadership and actions- that define your role and responsibilities on the Fireground will be explored and discussed.
