Fund Raisers

We are looking for some new idea's for fund raisers. Your input is valuable. If you have any feel please post them and we can discuss them.

There will be two new idea's brought up at January's monthly meeting.
1. Quarter auction- Denise and I attended one last weekend and it was a lot of fun. It was held at Campbelltown Fire Co. in Lebanon County. Denise had spoken with the organizers and got the ins and outs of it. The auctions seem very simple to do. Planning and advertising is important. We stand to bring in anywhere from $1,500 to $5,000 and up for no expense on our part with the exception of advertisement and food.
2. Scratch and Donate- Seems like and interesting new way to raise money. I don't know much about this one at all. Denise is the one who found it and has the information on this one. All I know is each member gets a packet and when they clean it of it is worth $100.00. We have over sixty members on our roster, If everyone on the roster is required to sell one sheet that is over $6,000.00. It sounds like another good one.

I don't know if anyone has ever suggested this but what about a Sunday Breakfast every now and then. I'm not sure how much they bring in and it will require a lot of help, but if you have ever been to New Ringgold's or Landingville's you can attract a lot of people and having the churches right in town will help. I'm not sure which company's in the area do it other than Centerport. If anyone thinks we can get the help need let me know and I can go up to one of the places and inquire about profit.

I personally feel it is too much work concidering look at New Years and the lack of help with set up and clean up. You really don't make the money for the time put into it.

Hey whats up guys...and gals. haha So i think that the idea of the coupon book is a very good idea. i don't know about the rest of the crew but that is a very easy 100 bucks....
