What else are your calls?
I was wondering what else you all do besides the Aircraft Fire Rescue.??
At Buffalo-Niagara we do EMS ** cuts ; sprains to Full arrests ; Structural ; vehicle fires , Building Fire alarms ; Alarm and Sprinkler testing ; we do our own dispatch; and requests for outside assistance.also respond to Off airport assist and Mutual aid..
So just a question if others do all that,too.??

We do the same here at MCAS Beaufort but very rarely deal with civilian aircraft mainly military....Now we have run a few commercial and private plane calls but not in awhile. We also run medical, mutual aid, confined space, hazmat, and all the other things they can find for us.

At Wilmington Intl. Airport in NC...we run EMS calls and structural calls on our property and give mutual aid outisde the airport when requested as staffing allows. I have been to one working fire outside the airport at the county's request. The airport has its own dispatchers and we don't test our alarms or sprinklers the county fire marshall's office takes care of that.
