I want to welcome everyone who stops in and who joins. This room is for anyone espically those of us who they call the Crispy Critters, Baked Patatos and the Gaurdians of the AirFields. I am a ARFFO at Buffalo -Niagara Airport east of Buffalo ,NY we do about 3 mill emplanements a year,

which results in about two EMS calls a day , a building fire alarm (usually dust or spiders) ,
an aircraft alert about once a week 12 commercial Airline companies American ,United , US Air...
Jet Blue , Southwest da da da..............a few itty-bittys trainers and of Course three of the Mercy Flight air ambulance helicopters

I have been there 27 years (OMG is the end in site)

I was working as a civilian ARFFO at Niagara Falls Air Force Base from 1973-1981 but the 24/24 got to me and this is a 4 on/4off schedule

Thanks for the welcome. GSP is Greenville Spartanburg International Airport, which is right off of I-85 in Greenville, South Carolina. I just found out today that I'll be starting on Sept. 18th, and I can't wait.
