At 14, I was amazed at the closeness of the guys that I had the opportunity to ride with. They never hald grudges, always were proud of eachother, and they were very proud of the job. I have been around awhile, and coming to Addison was the best thing that happened to me. The Brotherhood is alive and well on the black shift. Let us keep it that way for the sake of us, and those that come after us. I can truly say all of you are my Brothers. Thanks guys. WE ARE THE BEST. "All in, all out"
I've been chasing fires with my grandfather since I was two. When he died, I had a great emptyness. My uncle became a fireman, then a chief. Being a fireman is the only thing I ever wanted, and I feel honored that this life has chosen me. The brotherhood, while not what the old volunteers had, is still strong today. It needs some infusion of life, but its still strong. We on black shift have this life, and we have each others back. I LOVE THIS JOB, and my brothers. Be safe, ALL IN ALL OUT
