Let me introduce my self. I am Edwin J Rodas, volunteer Firefighter for Kalamazoo Township and Honorary Firefighter volunteer in Guatemala city, Guatemala. For the last tree years I been visiting the Fire Department of Guatemala City and it makes me realize how lucky we are in America to have well-equipped fire Departments. The Bomberos (firefighters) of Guatemala do a difficult job with old, outdated equipment. With the help of Fire-fighters in Kalamazoo MI, and other generous donors, I ve been able to take a washer, Dryer, radios, Sirens, Boots etc etc to the Guatemala City fire Department.
Now I am working with the Hearts in Motion organization (Indiana). four times a year they take much-need firefighter and Medical equipment to Guatemala city, and once a year they Bring Firefighters to the State for hands on first responders training, thru them many firefighters in Guatemala have increase they ability to save homes and save lives.
But they are in need of much more and that's where you can make a difference.

They need Donations of new and used equipment such as:
Uniforms,Clean Neck braces, first aid equipment, jaws of live, ambulances Or any other and recycled reused by the Fire department in Guatemala City (Bomberos voluntarios de Guatemala)
