OXFORD, Miss. - A house fire in Oxford has claimed one life.

Oxford Fire Department Deputy Chief David Duchaine said one woman died in the Thursday morning fire. Another woman, the owner of the house, was flown to an Alabama burn center with critical injuries.

Officials worked Thursday to make an official identification of the dead woman.
