Authorities are investigating a deadly Wichita mobile home fire.

Wichita television station KAKE reported that firefighters rushed to the scene after a neighbor reported the blaze Thursday. The flames were so intense that firefighters were unable to enter the structure until the blaze was nearly extinguished.

Authorities are conducting an autopsy to confirm the identity of the victim.

A 55-year-old man who used a wheelchair to get around lived in the mobile home. Neighbors believe he wasn't able to get out of the home in time.
