Yeah, there needs to be rules of conduct, but banning is so 17th century. I like the education idea better. Probably not what Patti has in mind though.

I missed the thread but reading his reply that was posted I'm gonna have to side with Pheonix on this one that to have a guy flip out like that it undoubtably affected his family some how.That is alot of anger to be thrown out for reading opinions somone has wrote.As far as being a said Christian he must not have very strong faith because I can understand holding on to some hatred for the offender that is in prison and taking awhile for your faith in God to work you through such a horrible thing but a Christian should have enough faith to get him through a couple of comments even if they were a hard truth he did not want to hear.His actions were totally uncalled for towards the people in here that simply replied to a post he started.
But in the lighter side I'm not sure where i'd put my money but that would make a good pay-per-view!!! Alan vs. Vest Guy.I'll have to get ahold of Dana White and have him sign them up for the next UFC

but... comments, actions or things that a reasonable person would find offensive is the basic guideline that defines, in court, whether someone has or has not crossed the line. one would hope, that because this is a site, intended for firefighters that operate within the guidelines of site, which is intended for use by professionals, and professionals do not express themselves in such a manner, nor do they do so using capital letters... just sayin' :D

This was my thinking as well, Phoenix.
If he is that distraught, and immovable in his thinking, then, in my opinion also, he is a danger to his community if/when he finally blows.
I took a quick peek at his profile before it was deleted, and it seems that his post in question was the only thing he has participated in. Could be wrong. Like I said, it was a quick peek.
Did he join FFN and start that particular post for a reason? Who knows for sure. I have no psychology degree or anything, but my thoughts run the same as you, Phoenix.
Whatever the reason for detonation, the man needs help.

My bet - he was sexually abused as a child.

Thus triggering such a dramatic response.



and this thread is funny - so many people discussing a person that is gone - if his goal was to create drama - he seems to be the gift that keeps on giving - lolol

I know... I just thought it was funny (ironic) - so many people hot and bothered over a big whiner who was all hot and bothered...

it was one fight I was staying out of... since it was just spinning in circles like a cyclone on crack...
