2 pulleys
4 sections of webbing
1 cable cutter
1 lineman plier
1 Sling Link rescue hareness

if you have anymore questions about our RIT operations give me a shout.
I wish we could train on RIT on my department, but my know everything chief says he will stick to old school firefighting. What the hell does this mean?
It means he is narrow minded and clueless but hey he wears a white hat with trumpets on it..lol..sorry joke, but really we had that in the beginning as well but we also had that fight about bunker gear as well years ago.

The thing I have used most in RIT from our bag is rope and not just long rope but Well we got lucky and got a light '; rope great tool with bright lights showing in and out but using a knot system on your rope is a great tool. The last thing you want your rit team to be is more lost firemen.
We train on rit at least once a month we are in the process on adding more equip in our bags we have been using MSA MMR packs and just purchased 4 - MSA transfill packs ( one each on our rescue units(Ambulances) and a MMR transfill with the nfpa upgrades on my ladder truck they all came with thean H-60 bottles.
we are also in the process of building RIT props .
As part of the RIT theory has your department upgraded to the drag straps on the PPE? I like the idea myself
The bunker gear that we now buy incorporates them in
bump....more pertinent than word games
