Volunteer Firefighter/EMT shot and killed

A Volunteer Firefighter/EMT from Cape Vincent in upstate New York was shot and killed when he responded to a call at a residence...Firefighter Davis was at the residence when a person he was trying to treat went into a bedroom and came out with a rifle...he then fired 2 shots striking Firefighter Davis...He was taken to a nearby hospital and declared dead on arrival......Please send the Department, His Family/Friends your thoughts and prayers.....Another Brother taken from us......Please stay safe and always remember to Keep the Faith......Paul......Brother...you are gone but not forgotten.....Rest well my Friend....The fire's out.......

It is a shame that we have to worry about this happening to us each and every day. One lays their lives on the line to help a fellow man and this is what happens.
