The Lumberton Fire Department in Lumberton, MS is without a tanker. We are a small department that only receives $1000 a month from the city that we are contracted to. When the citys contract with the county was cancelled, the county took possession of the tanker leaving us in a vulnerable condition since the city is in deep financial trouble and can't afford to repair all the fire hydrants. We are looking for donations of any kind. It doesn't matter if it's $1,$5,$10, ect. We have always believed in helping everybody we can and now we are reaching out to our brother & sisters in the fire service. Please search your hearts and help us to help ourselves.

Thank You,

Jerry Walters

check for available grants. Or hold a fundraiser.
You're going to have a hard time finding people to donate cash nowadays. Best of luck.
Host a pancake breakfast. Ask your local merchants to donate ingrediants, money, or to purchase hogs from a county fair to make sausage patties. Our Volunteers just had theirs and served over 1,600 people without buying any supplies.
