For those of you who have not heard, Victoria (Australia) has just suffered through the worst natural disaster ever recorded.
Saturday 7th February 2009 will be forever remembered as the day that Hell came to Victoria.
The temperature was over 45 degrees Celsius.
The winds were blisteringly dry, and raced through the state from the hot deserts in the centre of Australia to the coast at over 90km/hr.
Melbourne was surrounded by bushfires and the fire services were deploying crews from over 5 hours away to fight the fires.
At this stage there have been confirmed over 108 dead, plus 1000 homes lost. Unfortunately we are still counting.
