I feel for this Brothers family, both at home and in fire service but how many more of us will die because we act in a reckless and endangering manner. There is NEVER an excuse or reason not to wear your seatbelt!! There is also no reason to drive in an unsafe way with no regard to safe speed.

It breaks my heart everytime I read about a LODD that could have been easily prevented, by doing something that takes less than 5 seconds
This is a loss you never want to read about or have happen to you. We all have to remember that we did not cause the emergence and we can do no good if we donot get to the scene.
Forget about the blue lights and drive by the law and we will not be reading about this loss of life.
You will also be on scene within seconds of driving out of control.
Our prayers go out to the family and department
