U.S. Fire Administration

The U.S. Fire Adminstration has announced the official line of duty death of Stephen Michael Cospelich, 56, of the Philadelphia Fire Department (PA) on May 20, 2009.

Lieutenant Cospelich collapsed several hours after finishing his duty shift and fighting a working house fire. Cospelich was transported to the hospital but succumbed to his injury having never regained consciousness.
