USFA: North Carolina Firefighter Dies in POV Response Crash

U.S. Fire Administration

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty death of Firefighter David Hunsinger, Jr., 24, of the Tar Heel Rural Volunteer Fire Department on April 7, 2011.

Firefighter Hunsinger, while responding to a brush fire call in his personal vehicle, was involved in a collision and passed away from injuries sustained from the accident.
