U.S. Fire Administration

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty death of Fire Chief Stanley L. Giles, 69, of the Linn Valley Lakes Fire Department on February 10, 2010.

Fire Chief Giles passed away from injuries sustained when he was pinned between a fire apparatus backing into the station after returning from a fire call and another fire department vehicle.

Funeral Arrangements:
February 26, 2010 – Private family service at Ft. Leavenworth, KS.
