U.S. Fire Administration

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty death of Firefighter/Paramedic Christopher Wheatley, 31, of the Chicago Fire Department on August 9, 2010.

Firefighter Wheatley was working a grease-chute fire at a restaurant when he fell approximately 35 feet from a ladder suffering fatal injuries while he was making his way up to the roof of the burning building with his equipment.
