U.S. Fire Administration

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty death of Firefighter Kurt Meusel, 25, of the Scales Mound Fire Protection District on May 22, 2010.

Firefighter Meusel died from injuries sustained in a single motor vehicle accident while responding to a search and rescue incident.
