US Fire Administration

The US Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty death of Firefighter Gary L. Cummins, 62, of the Brocton Fire Protection District on October 31, 2010.

Firefighter Cummins died from an apparent heart attack while responding to structure fire. Cummins was driving a piece of apparatus when he suddenly collapsed, causing the apparatus to leave the roadway and come to rest in a ditch.
