USFA: FDNY Firefighter Dies From WTC-Related Cancer

The U.S. Fire Administration has announced the official line of duty death of Firefighter Roy Chelsen, 51 of the Fire Department City of New York, on January 9, 2011.
Firefighter Chelsen passed away from bone-marrow cancer resulting from his response to the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center in New York City on September 11th, 2001.

To date, three firefighter fatalities have been reported to USFA in 2011; two from incidents that occurred in 2011 and one from previous year incidents.
