What's a typical training night format/program look like for your Unit/Depratment?

I'm trying to change ours to look something like:

1930 Maintenance

1955 Maintenance concludes

2000 Training commences

2155 Training concludes

2200 End of night meeting commences

2215 Close

At the moment, there's no maintenance being done on arrival. The duration fo the training is also very ad-hoc.

Just curious what others are doing....

Well, first, it has to be dark out.

We do ours in three-hour training blocks, including a briefing and review of the safety plan.
Then we train for most of the three hours, and spend the last 15 minutes or so returning equipment and apparatus to service and cleaning up any expendable props that were used.

We put out a drill plan at least two weeks in advance so everyone has the basic intent ahead of time.
That keeps us from having to spell out every detail at the drill-time briefing.
We separate regular equipment maintenance from training. That means a training night is usually:

19:45 Arrive, be alocated to a vehicle if vehicle training. Those who arrive early have a coffee and chat.
20:00 Training commences. De-brief if needed.
22:00 Training finishes.
Do any maintenance/restocking that is required.

Sunday training sessions follow the same format, but for three hours.
