PHILADELPHIA - SkyFox was live over a two-alarm fire in South Philadelphia that appeared to be getting worse for some time Thursday morning.

Shortly after 6 a.m., a lot of smoke and some flames were coming out of the building. Around 6:30 a.m. firefighters were evacuated from the interior and the roof, through which flames were still shooting at 7 a.m. Fire crews are continuing to pour water on the blaze.
Fire officials said the building has been evacuated, and Fourth Street is closed between McKean Street and Snyder Avenue. Moyamensing will help you avoid this area.
One person has been taken from the scene to Methodist Hospital in stable condition, officials said.
Smoke billowing into the sky was streaming across the sky as the sun rose and could later be seen by cameras outside Fox 29 News' studios at Fourth and Market streets.
