LEALMAN, Fla. - Fifty firefighters from four fire departments were dispatched to a two-alarm fire in a building on 37th Street North just before 2 a.m. Friday morning.

Flames were spotted above the building, reaching 20-30 feet high at one point. The first firefighters on scene said the bar's roof collapsed within minutes of their arrival.

The business located in the building is a bar called the Hideaway. No one was inside at the time and no injuries were reported.

It took an hour to bring the blaze under control. Fire damage estimates are $100,000.

The firefighters were able to protect an adjacent building that houses F.O.E. POST 3658.

Pinellas County Sheriff's Office says an investigation into the cause of the fire will begin once the scene has cooled and it is safe to proceed.
