LYNN, Mass. - Two men trapped inside a car when a garage roof collapsed in Massachusetts have been rescued.

Lynn Mayor Judith Flanagan Kennedy tells broadcasters at the scene that a garage that houses vehicles owned by the Greater Lynn Senior Services collapsed Thursday morning, trapping two agency workers who had arrived at work to warm up the vehicles.

A number of other workers escaped.

The nonprofit agency transports elderly residents of the city to appointments.

Firefighters are in contact with the two men who are not seriously hurt. Their names were not released.

The garage is near a Garelick Farms dairy facility.

A fire department spokesman says officials are investigating whether a buildup of snow is to blame for the collapse.
