SPRINGFIELD, Ohio - Two people have died in an early morning house fire in western Ohio.

Springfield firefighters say the Thursday morning blaze was relatively small. They suspect the victims may have died from smoke or carbon monoxide poisoning.

However, the source and cause of the fire remain under investigation.
