Two Dead In Utah Apartment Fire; Woman Arrested For Arson

SALT LAKE CITY - Authorities say two people died and another was injured in a fire at a Provo apartment complex.

The Salt Lake Tribune reported that the blaze late Monday at The Boulders was the complex's second deadly fire in just over two years.

Firefighters say the bodies of two people were found in separate apartments at the 12-unit building where the blaze was reported around 9 p.m.

Fire and Rescue spokesman Gary Jolley says a 51-year-old woman was injured when she escaped the flames by breaking through her window and falling two stories to the ground. He says she was burned and is in critical condition.

In January 2009, a 55-year-old woman died and a man was injured in a fire in a building across from the one that burned Monday.
