I had a new set of gear 2 years ago, and finally after all this time, I can say i think its broke in to the way I want it. It took some fires, alot of training and followed by washing, but it finally came around to being as flexible as I want it to be!

basically just wear it, wash it, and then repeat the process a few times. That's really the only way.
