Hey Jake have you tried going around to different fire departments to see if by chance they may have some old stuff that they are willing to get rid of?
Believe me I have tried. In Southern California any "old" stuff is pretty picked over...mostly by me....LOL
BTW Mickey...NIIIIIIIIIIIIIIICE BIKE!
I scrounge mine from just about anywhere. I found a website for trading, buying, and selling old fire stuff, but damned if I can find it again. Theres a few used fire engine dealers that sell or give away old equipment, and I've seen an ad or two in the fire magazines for a few places that do stuff like that.
Cool thanks Jason....Im getting kinda greedy..I think Ill convert my garage into an apparatus bay!!!!! lol
Ill try to put some pics up tomarrow of all my stuff....well maybe just part of it! lol
Don't post too many. Bad enough I drool all over my keyboard when I stare at the rig pictures. Cool old tools and nozzles might totally kill my computer!
LOL Ill try to control myself...lol...so my 14' pike ploe with a head that is 22" long and weighs about 8 pounds might really do ya in? Wait that didnt sound right! lol
it sure as hell would do me in......LOL
LOL...and let me correct ploe to pole before someone else does....sorry...fast fingers
