illegally parking at a fire hydrant not only puts the victims at risk but also the firefighters.
while i agree with the comment at the end "damn well better charge the hose" will justify breaking the windows!
parking in front of a fire hydrant has been illegal for decades yet people still do it.
In the event of a fire that water is needed to protect the people and property.
In my opinion the fine for this type of illegal parking should be tripled.
But in the exception of a fire where a fireman has to go through a window or circumvent the vehicle in any way the vehicle description and license number should be submitted to the police, and the subsequent fine should be multiplied by ten, No exceptions!
the only vehicle that can park in front of a hydrant is the fire truck!
