Officials in Philadelphia say three firefighters were injured battling a house fire, but the injuries are said to be not life-threatening.

The blaze in a three-story home in the Frankford section of northeastern Philadelphia was reported at about 8:30 a.m. Sunday. Officials say it took crews about an hour to bring it under control.

A 41-year-old firefighter was being treated at Temple University Hospital for smoke inhalation and a 52-year-old firefighter for burns to the ear and neck. Both are in stable condition. A third firefighter was also injured, but no details were immediately available.
