NORTH CHARLESTON, SC - Three firefighters were injured Monday afternoon while battling a house fire on Purity Drive in North Charleston.
According to officials, three firefighters were injured and taken to MUSC for treatment.
Fire officials have not commented on the fire yet, but according to scanner traffic, the home collapsed trapping at least one firefighter inside.
EMS personnel have confirmed that they responded to the scene to treat the injured firefighters.
According to sources, the firefighter was pulled from the fire with non-life threatening injuries.
No information has been released on the condition of the injured firefighters.
