FEDERAL HEIGHTS, Colo. - Firefighters say a fire that evacuated 23 apartments in Federal Heights caused an estimated $50,000 in damage.

Federal Heights Fire Chief Andrew Marsh says 36 people were displaced by the blaze Friday night.

One person was hospitalized with chest pains and two were treated for smoke inhalation.

Marsh says flames were confined to one apartment on the third floor.
