the rochester drill
fire engineering march 2008 firefighter trapped in the floor: the rochester drill ok so I finaily got aroud to looking at it has any one tried this I was thinking that i could biled a floor on staging but i'm concernd about safty so far in the air any ideas thanks in advance

sorry about not adding enufh info about it. the drill is a wooden floor suspended just enufh in the air that a firefitgher can't get his/her footing it can be made out of 2-8 with 3/4" plywood 16" on center you then cut a 14 1/2" by 14" hole you then place a firefighter in the hole and use sevrel diffrent metheds of removeing him(pik pole
under arm pits ect.
