It is with much pride that I have been asked by the Otis Fire Department to thank the members of Firefighter Nation for their cards and prayers for fallen brother David Sullivan. Many of the department's members were not aware of the Nation or what it is used for. When cards of sympathy poured in from all over the country, many of them had listed the Nation as their place of being made aware of Dave's passing. This has a lot to say for the firefighting community and this site. Dave was a wonderful man who always made you smile. No matter how hot or cold it was outside, Dave always said " No problems here." with a smile. Dave has become immortalized as the "Jimmy Buffett of firefighting" and with the inaugural launch of his "Tiki Barge" he lives with us as "Tiki Dave".
