Texas Apartment Fire Claims Grandfather and Grandson
PASADENA, Texas - A residential fire in the Houston area has killed a man and his 12-year-old grandson.
Investigators in Pasadena say the man had escaped from the burning home Thursday afternoon but went back in to try to save the boy.
Pasadena Fire Marshal David Brannon says it appears the victims were looking for an escape route and became trapped. The bodies were discovered in a bathroom.
Names of the victims were not immediately released.
The cause of the blaze is sought.
