TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The Tallahassee Police Department says a 75-year-old woman has died in a house fire.

Officers were called to Betty Scott's home Friday at about 5:40 p.m.

Officer Susan Newhouse, a spokeswoman for the police department, says responders found the home engulfed in flames and smoke. They were unable to enter the residence.
